Amy L. Lansky, PhD
Amy Lansky received her doctorate in computer science from Stanford University in 1983. After many years working as a research computer scientist, she made an unusual career move: she became a student, writer, promoter, and, most recently, practitioner of homeopathic medicine. This was prompted by the miraculous cure of her son's autism with homeopathy. In addition to her homeopathic practice, providing referrals and guidance to many parents in the autism community, serving as an editor and columnist for a variety of homeopathic publications, and promoting homeopathy through her book, Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy, Amy is a board member of both the California Health Freedom Coalition and the National Center for Homeopathy in Alexandria, Virginia.

Chantal Sicile-Kira
Chantal Sicile-Kira is the author of Autism Spectrum Disorders (Penguin), recipient of the ASA 2005 Outstanding Literary Work of the Year. Chantal has over 20 years of experience with ASDs as a professional and as a parent raising her severely autistic child (now 16 years old) in three different countries. Chantal is active in various non-profits including the San Diego Chapter of the Autism Society of America, Cure Autism Now, Helping Autism through Learning and Outreach (HALO), and La Casa Center for Autism. Doreen Granpeesheh, PhD
Received her Ph.D. in Psychology from UCLA in 1990 and attained licensure from the Medical Board of California in 1992. Dr. Granpeesheh is a Psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been providing services for children with Autism since 1979. In 1990, Dr. Granpeesheh founded The Center for Autism and Related Disorders and through its 14 offices worldwide, she has provided diagnosis, assessment and behavioral treatment for over 5000 children affected by Autism, Asperger's and PDDNOS.

Rob Sidell
A financial services professional and father to two NT children in their twenties, Rob Sidell's second son, Michael, who is 7-years old, regressed into moderate/severe autism at age 2. Rob used the Internet to contact people all over the world, and by mid-May 2001, Rob and wife, Debra, were following the DAN! protocol in conjunction with Michael attending the very structured ABA environment of the Delaware Autism Program. Michael is now mainstreamed in first grade and performing well. Rob and Debra have worked together to promote the importance of the gf/cf diet for children at home and school. Rob believes that creating information solutions for persons with autism spectrum disorders and those who love and care for them is vital to improving the quality of life for all concerned.

Teri Arranga
is the Director of Autism One and General Manager of Autism One Radio, as well as an Autism One Radio program host.  She serves as Project Manager for the Autism Coalition for Treatment.  Teri is the U.S. Editor of The Autism File magazine.  Teri has been involved with a number of media projects, including consulting for a medical documentary by award-winning filmmaker Lina Moreco of Montreal, Canada, and as a consultant for the April 2007 Discover magazine article “Understanding Autism.”  Teri was given honorable mention in Spectrum magazine's “Top 10 Faces of Autism” article of April 2006 and was subsequently invited to the Advisory Board of Spectrum.  Teri has been an active advocate in the autism community for many years, including attending and broadcasting events in Washington, DC.  Teri and Ed Arranga have two boys: Jarad, who is 13-years old, and Ian, who is 10-years old.

Danise and Byron Strain, MD
In 1999, Britni was diagnosed with Autism. After visiting many specialists and being repeatedly told that their only daughter would never recover her parents, Byron Strain, MD and his wife Danise, devoted their lives to searching for successful treatments. Danise and Byron conducted research, seeking treatments that would free Britni from a lifetime locked in the grip of autism. Through many sleepless nights and disappointments they discovered treatments that have put Britni on the path to recovery. They are co-authors of Autism/PDD Recovery IS Possible! and have also started The Britni Foundation, a non-profit organization to provide information and financial assistance to other families seeking successful treatments. Phillip C. DeMio, MD
Dr. DeMio, a Defeat Autism Now! practitioner, is the father of a child with autism and has been an M.D. for over 20 years. Mary Coyle, D.I. Hom
Before and during pregnancy, Mary Coyle worked as an account manager in a pest management firm. After her son was diagnosed with ASD, she believed the chemically toxic work environment acted as a primary agent in his diagnosis. His most remarkable progress began while instituting a homeopathic detoxification program, based upon the principles of homeotoxicology, developed by German physician, Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg. In 2000, Mary obtained a diploma in homeopathy, and she now counsels other families with ASD children on how to utilize a low-potency homeopathic detoxification program to remove toxic body burden.

Rhonda Brunett
Rhonda Brunett and husband Rick are the proud parents of 13-year old son Jordan, who was diagnosed with Autism at age three. Due to much encouragement combined with the apparent lack of layman's materials on Autism, Rhonda—just a novice--was fuelled to write her first book, From Autism to All-Star, self-published in 2004. Little did they know, that what began, as a loving way to preserve family memories, would result in documentation of Jordan's life as an Autistic child.

Rhonda believes that it is her purpose in life to serve as a passionate advocate for Autism. Dorinne S. Davis MA, CCC-A, FAAA
Dorinne S. Davis is the President and Founder of The Davis Center in Rockaway, NJ. She is an Educational and Rehabilitative Audiologist with 35+ years experience. Dorinne earned degrees in Speech & Hearing and Speech & Drama and a Masters of Audiology/Deaf Education. She is certified in Speech Correction, Pre-school Education, Speech & Drama, Teacher of the Hard of Hearing, and Supervision by the NJ Department of Education and is licensed as an Audiologist in NJ, NY, and PA. Jack and Rebecca Sytsema
Jack and Rebecca Sytsema are both ordained Christian ministers who have been involved in international prayer ministry since 1993. They have also been involved with several autism groups over the past four years and are on the Honorary Board of Advisors for Unlocking Autism.  Jack currently serves as Executive Vice President of Finance for the International Child Development Resource Center (ICDRC) and Creation's Own (CO). Jack received his Bachelor's degree from Calvin College, and a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.  Rebecca currently serves as Director of Children of Destiny, and works as a freelance author and editor. Dr. David L. Holmes is Board Certified in Forensic Science, Behavioral Science and Psychology. He is a certified/licensed Chief School Administrator/Supervisor/Principal and  teacher.  He is immediate past president and founder of The Eden Family of Services and Chairman of the Panel of Professional Advisors of the Autism Society of America. Robert Krakow, Esq
Robert Krakow is an attorney in private practice in New York City.  Bob started his legal career with the New York Public Interest Research Group, a consumer advocacy organization.  In the 1980's Bob was a prosecutor with the New York County District Attorney's office, serving as Bureau Chief of the special narcotics prosecution division.  He founded his law firm in 1989, focusing on the trial of civil and criminal cases, and now specializes in the representation of persons injured by exposure to environmental toxins and vaccines.  He is the Board Chair of Lifespire, Inc., a 55-year old New York and New Jersey not-for-profit organization that provides residential, day habilitation, occupational, educational and medical programs and supports for more than 6,000 developmentally disabled adults and children. Bob has served in the past as a Board member of the National Autism Association and of Safeminds, organizations that promote the interests of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, especially in the area of scientific research. Most recently, Bob co-founded A-CHAMP (Advocates for Children's Health Affected by Mercury Poisoning), a national political organization that advocates for children with neurodevelopmental disorders and vaccine injuries. Dr. Mary Joann Lang founded Beacon Day School in June 2004 to open up the world of possibilities for students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. She has been involved with the care of children for more than 25 years, first as a Nurse Practitioner and educator, then as an educational psychologist. A Diplomat of the American Board of Neuropsychology, Dr. Lang has been a practicing, licensed psychologist in the area of neuropsychology since 1991. Julie Matthews

In 2000, she was the Founding President of the Autism Society of Berks County. Curt Linderman
Curt Linderman, Sr. and his wife, Kimberly, are the parents of four children. Their youngest, Kaden (7 years old), was vaccine-injured at 20 months old. Curt has been published in The Autism File magazine and has written numerous articles and opinion pieces for local newspapers in the Midwest. Kerri Rivera is the mother of a child recovering from autism. She has a DAN! Based clinic in Puerto Vallarta Mexico that opened in 2006. Harry Schneider, MD
Received his medical degree from Columbia University and completed his residency at Northwestern University. Dr. Schneider is an Associate Research Scientist in the Functional MRI Research Center of Columbia University. He is in private practice at the Center for Wellness and Longevity in Plainview, NY, and uses the Defeat Autism Now! approach. Dr. Harry Schneider served on the medical staff of North Shore University's Franklin General Hospital and South Nassau Communities Hospital, as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor for Clinical Training in the Family Practice Training Program at SNCH. He has participated in Tropical Medicine Research in Guatemala and Brazil for the World Health Organization and received research support as a Medical/Linguistic Consultant for Transcendent International's bilingual medical software. Dr. Schneider's background is as a linguist, with advanced degrees in language and linguistics, and he speaks multiple languages. He is in the process of obtaining a doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Shauna Layton
Shauna Layton is the Founder of Together In Autism (T.I.A) and is currently writing a book of her unexpected yet humbling autism journey. She has marched in Washington, DC and been interviewed by various national resources. She is a wife, mother, activist, and advocate who is a full-time caregiver working from home. Upon her oldest child's ASD diagnosis in 2007, she found herself in a region of the Midwest (Indiana) with no available resources within hours. Shauna learned quickly that upon a diagnosis of autism, you are thrown into a whole new world where you are put into a role of advocacy that you necessarily didn't ask to sign on for. Through her research for her own child, she wanted others to benefit from her findings to make their journey a smooth one. Her mission through her website, radio program, books, articles, and various projects is to arm those around the globe with resources, knowledge, faith, hope, courage, strength, and positivism. Most importantly, she wants to let people know that that autism is treatable and recovery is possible.  She believes once autism is introduced into your life, you can face anything. Jennifer D. Laviano
Attorney Jennifer D. Laviano is in private practice in Sherman, Connecticut. Attorney Laviano earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut. The focus of Attorney Laviano’s law practice is almost exclusively involved with the representation of children and adolescents with disabilities in securing an appropriate educational program pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) from public school districts. Her representation includes all manner of advocacy on behalf of children with special needs, from attendance at IEP team meetings, to mediation, due process and, if necessary, litigation in the federal courts. Attorney Laviano is a regular presenter, both locally and nationally, on the subject of the special legal rights of children with disabilities and their entitlement to receive an appropriate education.

Julie Swanson
Julie Swanson’s teenage son was diagnosed with autism long before the incidence of autism rose to today’s alarming numbers. Along the way of advocating for her son, Julie found herself becoming a resource for many other parents of children with autism. As her passion for advocacy grew, so did the demand for her advocacy services. She eventually opened All About Your Special Child Education Advocacy Services. In her private practice she travels throughout Connecticut helping parents secure appropriate special education services for children from birth to 21. Julie appears regularly on television discussing a variety of disability-related issues. She holds a graduate degree in educational media from Fairfield University. Most recently, Julie earned an additonal degree as a disability specialist from Manchester Community College. She is a founding board member of Connecticut Families for Effective Autism treatment (CTFEAT) and an appointed member of the Connecticut State Advisory Council on Special education. Gene Hurwin, MA OTR/L, Executive Director and owner of BIG FUN Therapy and Recreational Services, holds a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Southern California and has over 25 years of experience in gymnastics instruction.  After completing OT school, Gene began to develop the “BIG FUN method” for the purpose of improving the quality of life for special needs children.  Since founding BIG FUN Therapy and Recreational Services in 2001, Gene has presented at conferences across the country.  He has published several articles about the use of gymnastics and movement as a method of intervention for children with special needs. Devin Houston, PhD
Dr. Devin Houston, PhD. provided the first enzyme product targeted to children with autism in 1999. Since then, he has worked to further the research into enzyme development.

Dr. Houston has a distinguished career in academic and industrial enzyme research, holding a doctorate in medical biochemistry from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. His academic research included positions at the University of Virginia and Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Jackie Olson
Mom to a son with autism, Jackie Olson combined her career as a filmmaker and her passion for helping special needs children to create an OT DVD series (www.TRPwellness.com).  Jackie encourages parents and their child’s intervention team to work together and keep direct channels of communication open to get the highest results and benefits for the child.  It is her goal to inform parents and to make occupational therapy activities available to all children with special needs.

Kendal Stewart, MD
Kendal Stewart, MD, is the chief medical officer of the NeuroSensory Center of Austin.  He is board certified in otolaryngology with fellowship training in neurotology/skull base surgery. His experience includes advanced training in neurosurgical, neurological and immunological disorders.  Dr. Stewart has extensive experience with advanced neurological and audio-vestibular techniques and has authored two medically related patents in this area.  He has had specific research interests in vestibular disorders, athletic injuries of the nervous system and processing/sensory integration disorders. Dr. Stewart has developed innovative and highly effective treatment protocols for neurological diseases including Meniere’s disease, imbalance, vertigo, autism spectrum disorders, and “post-concussion” syndrome.  He has authored papers and is extensively involved in lectures and instructional courses for physicians, therapists and other health care professionals.

Lisa Hunter Ryden
Lisa Hunter Ryden, MBA, also has a degree in medical technology and post graduate coursework in microbiology, molecular genetics and immunology. She began her career as a clinical medical technologist and has spent the past 20 years in the medical diagnostics industry. She communicates her extensive knowledge of biomedical treatment to the autism community as a means to help physicians and parents develop a best practices model and develop a partnership to recover their children. Lisa has been featured on Autism One Radio, given numerous public presentations on autism biomedical treatment, written several articles, and served as a parent advocate in political and legislative autism issues. Lisa and her husband have two boys.  Their oldest son, Jake, suffered autistic regression at age 12 months, and was nonverbal until age 5. Today at age 8, he is recovering from his symptoms, speaking in sentences, writing, and learning to read.  Lisa believes that many cases of autistic regression are treatable, and recovery is possible.

Lisa A. Lundy, a motivational speaker and mother of three, is the author of The Super Allergy Girl, Allergy & Celiac Cookbook - From A Mother Who Knows, a gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, peanut- and tree-nut free and other allergen-free cookbook.  Lisa's third child, Anne, was a modern-day "bubble child" three years ago with a stark prognosis.  With the interventions of Lisa and her husband, Anne is doing remarkably well and has avoided seizures, brain damage and other heartbreaking outcomes that were predicted and predictable.  Lisa Lundy's passion is empowering others with information so that they can control and direct their own health and get and stay well.
